Septic Repair — Southside Virginia & NC
Fast diagnosis. Honest assessment. Repairs done right by a Master Licensed installer who services both conventional and alternative systems. After-hours available for emergencies.
Know the Signs
Septic problems don't fix themselves. What starts as a slow drain or a soft spot in the yard can turn into a full system failure that costs significantly more to address. If you're seeing any of these signs, call Blake before it gets worse.
A properly working system is odor-free. Smell near the drain field or tank area means gas is escaping where it shouldn't be.
Standing water or unusually lush, green grass over the drain field is a classic sign of field failure. The system is surfacing effluent it can't absorb.
A single slow drain is usually a clog. Slow drains in every fixture at once points to a full tank or a blocked outlet, not a plumbing issue.
The most urgent sign. Sewage backing up into toilets, tubs, or floor drains means the system is past capacity or blocked. Call immediately.
Alternative systems (drip, LPP, ATU) have control panels with alarms. If yours is going off, something is wrong. Call Blake before it escalates.
Not an emergency yet, but deferred pumping leads to solids reaching the drain field. Once a field is clogged with solids, repair is far more expensive.
The longer a septic problem goes unaddressed, the more it costs to fix. Call Blake for a fast, honest diagnosis on what's wrong and what it'll take to repair it.

Failed or failing drain fields are the most common septic repair in Southside Virginia. Blake assesses whether the field can be rehabilitated or needs full replacement, and handles either.
Cracked tanks, failing baffles, deteriorated lids, and broken outlet tees. Blake inspects the tank and repairs or replaces as needed, including risers and access improvements.
Pump failures, control panel issues, drip line problems, and ATU component repair. Blake holds the Master License required to work on these systems legally in Virginia.
Not sure what's wrong? Blake diagnoses the problem before any work begins. You get a straight answer on what's failed, why it failed, and what repair actually makes sense.
A failed or uneven distribution box sends too much effluent to one section of the drain field, overloading it. Blake repairs or replaces the D-box and rebalances flow to the field.
Crushed, cracked, or root-intruded pipes between the house and tank, or tank to field. Blake locates the problem and repairs or replaces the affected line.
Our Approach
A lot of contractors will quote you a drain field replacement before they've looked at anything. Blake doesn't work that way. He evaluates the system first, tells you what's actually broken, and quotes you on what it actually takes to fix it. Sometimes the repair is smaller than you feared. Sometimes it's bigger. Either way, you get the truth upfront.
"I'm not going to sell you a new drain field if you need a pump replaced. That's not how I'd want to be treated."📞 Call for a Diagnosis
